There were not many shops on site as there are in Vegas, and one of the reasons I was visiting was to top up on the room fragrance that the Wynn chain uses - Asian Rain - but there was not even a Wynn/Encore gift shop on site. However a line for public transport and taxis would also be sensible. The taxi driver said that was normal for a Sunday, so perhaps visiting on another day would be better. The queues to get in by road were significant - there is no separate line for taxis or drop-off, and I realised we were in the same queue as people heading into the parking garage which is why it was not moving. Apparently there is a shuttle from some of the MBTA stations but there is very little hard information about this on the website. The slots were tighter than any I have encountered in Vegas and there did not seem to be the same variety - the specialist TV and film tie-in slots that I really enjoy were few and far between. I have stayed at both the Wynn and Encore in Las Vegas a number of times, and while I did not stay here, but just visited the casino, this seemed very much a poor relation. Disappointing when compared to the Las Vegas hotels.
